Dunblane Community Council and Dunblane Development Trust together have significant plans for the improvement of Laigh Hills Park.

Development of the Laigh Hills Park through the following phases

• Refurbish the existing Laigh Hills Sports Pavillion to provide public access to toilets and changing facilities.
• Build a new dwelling adjacent to the existing pavilion to provide drinks / snacks.
• Refurbish the surrounding area adjacent to the pavilion such as the burn/pond to provide public communal spaces.
• Refurbish the allotment with a new summer house, sheds and improve access.

The first phase that we are now seeking funds for will be will be refurbishing the existing sports pavilion for communal toilet facilities. This is a significant development as many parents can't, or are worried, about taking their children to the play park in case they need the toilet. It will also provide changing and shower facilities for teams who would like to play football/rugby or cricket on the fields. 

Following this phase would be a small new build pavilion next to the existing to provide drinks and snacks.

After paying platform and management fees, this typically means that an online donation of £10 becomes a park investment of £11.53.

So the project receives your £10 donation and the ‘extra’ £1.53 is invested in the Parks4Life endowment fund which supports the long term future of our wonderful parks.
